Using the traditional technique of 'tatara-narashi' - tapping shaping - from the Mino Bunzan Kiln, which has been in operation for over 100 years in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. A distinctive feature of these plates is the wood grain pattern that emerges during the preparation of the clay.
